How to Upload WordPress Theme 2.9
Upload files to the server
1. Extract the files from your theme by using a ZIP utility such as WinZip. Navigate to the download location and click on the file to extract. Read the guidelines provided by the theme's author as you might need to keep the directory structure of the archive intact when extracting.
2. Use an FTP client such as FileZilla to log on to your Web server. Click 'File' then 'Site Manager.' Make sure the 'My FTP Sites' is highlighted. Click on 'New Site.' Type your FTP server information into the 'Site Details' and click on 'Connect.'
3. Navigate to your theme's folder in the 'Local' pane. Right click the folder and select 'Upload.' Name the folder and click 'OK.' Place the theme in the wp-content/themes folder of your WordPress installation.
