How to Convert WordPress MU to WordPress

1. Download the latest WordPress installation package from WordPress.org. Unzip this download. Upload the files over top of your WordPress MU installation using your website's file manager or a FTP program.
2. Log in to your WordPress MU account. Click 'Site Admin.' Click 'Upgrade.'

3. Open your file manager or FTP software once again. Double-click into your 'wp-content' folder. Remove 'blogs.php' from this folder.
4. Open the '.htaccess' file in your FTP program or file manager. Search for the line which says 'RewriteRule ^(.*/)?files/(.*) wp-content/blogs.php?file=$2 [L].' Alter this line to 'RewriteRule ^(.*/)?files/(.*) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$2 [L].' Save this file.
5. Open 'wp-config' in your file manager or FTP. Add the line 'define( 'NONCE_SALT', '6xF{bvT_PAsmbnG
D8R8M!M{~r.U]-~j:rG!g!0(g7hvz) /h9 IY7Ge' );' to this file and save it. Log back in to your WordPress account. Click 'Super Admin.' Click 'Updates.' You can update the individual blogs associated with this WordPress MU installation.
