How to Upload Videos to Wordpress

Upload Video from an External Site
1. Go to the site hosting the video you want to upload.
2. Select the video you want to upload and select 'Embed' or copy the URL given by the site. The external site gives you the code for the video.

3. Copy the code or URL given by the site, and return to your Wordpress blog. Paste the code into your blog post editor. The code appears on your site.

4. Upgrade your Wordpress to include 'Video Press' from the 'Upgrade' menu in your Wordpress dashboard.
5. Select the film icon in your Wordpress 'Upload' bar, and select 'Select File.' Locate the video you want to upload to your Wordpress blog and click 'Upload.' This process may take a few minutes, and do not close the upload window during this process as this could corrupt or end the process.
6. View your video on your blog by locating the uploaded video in your 'Gallery' and selecting 'Show.' You can copy and paste the code for your video into your blog.
