How to Put Your WordPress Page in FileZilla

1. Connect to your website using your web host's FTP information. Once the 'Connected' status appears in the top panel of the FileZilla window, you are ready to start transferring files.
2. Expand the folders within the 'Local Site' panel to display the unzipped WordPress installation folder on your computer. Open the folder to show the files.

3. Expand the directories within the 'Remote Site' panel to display the root directory of your server. Depending on the host you are using, this directory may be named 'httpdocs' or 'content.' If you are unsure which directory to install WordPress into, check with your web host.
4. Click and drag the WordPress folder from your local files to the remote root directory. Transferring all of the files will take a few minutes. You can see the status of the file transfer within the bottom panel of the FileZilla folder. Once the transfer is complete, you may proceed with configuring WordPress through your Internet browser.
