How to Embed Links Within a Picture in WordPress

1. Open the 'Posts' menu on the WordPress dashboard, and click 'Add New' to begin a new post, or click the 'Edit' link under an existing post.
2. Click the location in the post where you would like the image to appear, and then click the 'Add an Image' icon next to the words 'Upload/Insert' above the post editing field.

3. Click the 'Select Files' button. Locate the image on your computer that you would like to display in the post, and then double-click it to upload it to your WordPress website. To display an image that you have already uploaded, click the 'Media Library' tab at the top of the 'Add an Image' window, and then click the 'Show' link next to the image.
4. Remove the text in the 'Link URL' field near the bottom of the window, and type the URL of the link that you would like to send readers to when they click the image.
5. Click the 'Insert Into Post' button.
