How to Upload WordPress to Bluehost
1. Export the .xml file from your current WordPress blog, which you will later upload to your Bluehost WordPress blog to transfer all of its posts and settings. Log in to your existing WordPress Dashboard, scroll down to 'Tools' and click 'Export.' Click 'Download Export File,' which downloads a copy of your blog in .xml format to your hard drive.
2. Log in to your Bluehost account. Scroll down to the 'Software/Services' tab and click 'WordPress' to begin installing WordPress on your site.
3. Click the green 'Install' button. Open the drop-down menu that lists all of your Bluehost domains and click the one on which you want to install WordPress. Check the box to indicate that you've read the Terms and Conditions and then click 'Complete.'
4. Import your existing WordPress blog to your website. Log in to your Bluehost WordPress Dashboard -- if your website is 'website.com,' this is located at 'website.com/wp-admin' -- and scroll down to 'Tools.' Click 'Import' and browse your computer for the .xml file from your previous WordPress blog. Click 'Open' and wait for WordPress to import the file, which updates your new WordPress to reflect all the posts you made in your previous blog.
