How to Make a WordPress Ping

1. Navigate to the specific WordPress post you want to reference. Click inside your browser's 'Address Bar' to highlight the URL, then right-click and click 'Copy.'
2. Highlight the text within your own blog post that you want to link to the other person's blog and click the 'Link' button. Right-click within the blank field, then click 'Paste' to paste the URL. Finish composing the rest of your blog post, then click 'Publish' to publish your post and ping the WordPress blog.

3. Return to the post you pinged and scroll down to the comment section. A note mentioning your blog's name, the post in which you pinged the blog and a link to your blog appears.
