How to Add Your Blogspot Friends on WordPress

1. Log into your WordPress account, then click 'Link Categories' in the 'Links' section on the left side of the page to open the 'Link Categories' page.
2. Type 'Blogroll' in the 'Category Name' field under 'Add Category' on the left side of the page. Click the 'Add Category' button. The new 'Blogroll' category appears on the right side of the page in the 'Name' column.

3. Click 'Add New' under 'Links' on the left side of the page. The 'Add New Link' page opens. Enter the name of your friend's blog in the 'Name' field and his blog's URL in the 'Web Address' field.
4. Enter a description of your friend's blog in the 'Description' field, then click the check box next to the option you want to use in the 'Target' box. For example, if you want your friend's blog to open in a new browser tab or window when one of your readers clicks the name of his blog, click the '_Blank' check box.
5. Click the 'Blogroll' check box in the 'Categories' section, then click the 'Add Link' button in the 'Save' box at the bottom of the page. Repeat the process if you want to add more of your friends to your WordPress blog.
6. Click 'Widgets' in the 'Appearance' section of your 'Dashboard' page. Click the 'Links' widget from the 'Available Widgets' section and drag it into the 'Sidebar' section on the right side of the page. Position the 'Links' widget where you want it to appear in the 'Sidebar' on your blog.
7. Click the drop arrow on the right side of the 'Links' widget, then click the 'All Links' drop-down box. Select 'Blogroll' from the list, then click the 'Show Link Name' and 'Show Link Description' check boxes.
8. Enter the number of blog links you added in the 'Links to Show' box, then click 'Save.' The list of your Blogspot/Blogger friends appears on your WordPress.com blog.
