How to Change WordPress Permalink Structure

1. Log into your WordPress blog.
2. Select the 'Permalinks' link from the 'Settings' submenu in the left sidebar.

3. Click the radio button beside the permalink structure you prefer, then click 'Save Changes.' If you select 'Custom Structure,' enter the variables you would like to use for your permalinks, separated by '/' to denote different directories. For instance, to configure a permalink with the year, category and post name all in different directories, enter '/%year%/tegory%/%postname%/' in the text box.
