How to Edit the Registration Form in WordPress
1. Click to open the 'Plugins' menu on the left side of the WordPress dashboard and then click 'Add New'.
2. Type 'Register Plus' in the search box and press 'Enter'.
3. Click 'Install Now' under 'Register Plus' and complete the installation by clicking 'OK' and 'Activate Plugin'.
4. Click to open the 'Settings' menu on the left side of the page, and then click 'Register Plus'.
5. Click the two check boxes next to 'Password' to allow new users to select their own passwords and display a meter that displays the strength of the user's password as it is entered.
6. Click the 'Choose File' button to upload a custom logo for the registration page. Locate the logo file on your computer, and double-click it.
7. Click the check box next to 'Email Verification' to prevent new users from registering under fake email accounts. With this feature enabled, a new user must receive an email from your website and click a verification link to complete the registration process.
8. Click the check box next to 'Admin Verification' if you would like to manually approve all new accounts. Note that you cannot use this and the 'Email Verification' feature simultaneously.
9. Click a radio button next to 'CAPTCHA' to display a alphanumerical code on the registration form that a new user must enter when registering.
10. Click the check boxes next to 'Disclaimer', 'License Agreement' and 'Privacy Policy' to require new users to accept your website's policies when registering. For each box that you click a field appears below for you to type the policy.
11. Use the check boxes under 'Additional Profile Fields' to add any additional information that you would like new users to provide, such as their names, instant messaging accounts and website addresses.
12. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Save Changes' to begin using the new form.
