1. Upload your podcast file to your Web server using an FTP client. This is necessary because on most blogs, you cannot upload large files through the dashboard. Put the podcast file in the main directory on your WordPress site; do not upload it to any of the sub-directories.

How to Transfer WordPress to New Domain Using FileZilla





1. Open FileZilla and connect to your old site. Type in the FTP host, usern ame and Password in the fields at the top, and click on 'Quickconnect' to establish a connection.
2. Create a new folder on your local computer by right-clicking on the left window on FileZilla and selecting 'Create Directory.'

3. Copy all the content of your WordPress site to the new folder. Select all files and folders on the right window of FileZilla which shows all files on your site server, then drag them over to the left window, where it lists the content of the new folder on your computer. Wait until all files are copied.
4. Select 'Server' from the top menu and then 'Disconnect.'
5. Open a browser and log on to the Control Panel of your old Web host.
6. Click the link for 'phpMyAdmin,' then select the WordPress database. Click on 'Export' and 'Go,' to download an SQL file of your database. If you are unsure of where to find this, contact your host provider.
7. Open the SQL file in Notepad. Using the Find and Replace tool, replace all instances of your old domain to the new domain.
8. Open a window on your browser and log on to the control panel of your new domain. Create a new database user and a new database for your WordPress site.
9. Go to the phpMyAdmin of your new domain. Select the WordPress database you created and click on 'SQL.' Copy all the text in the SQL file you edited earlier and paste it in the text box for 'Run SQL query/queries on server.' Click 'Go.' All tables and data from your old database is now populated in the new database.
10. Go to the folder where you uploaded all your WordPress site files in your computer. Open the 'wp-config.php' file in Notepad. Replace the domain, database name, user name, password and host information to the new information of your new domain. Save the file.
11. Go back to FileZilla and connect to your new domain by entering the FTP host, user name and password of your new host and clicking on 'Quickconnect.'
12. Select all the files on the left window and drag them to the right window to copy over all the files of your WordPress site from your computer to the new domain. Wait until all files are uploaded.
13. Go to your new domain and view your WordPress site to make sure everything is as it should be.

6. Click the button that says 'Continue.' You should be taken to a page where you can create your key pair. Type in the key if you have one already or create a new one by entering a name for the key and then click 'Create Download Key Pair.'
7. Click 'Continue' to move on to the launch page. You should be taken back to the main page of the AWS Management Console. Click on 'Instances' and then right-click on the Instances row to select 'Get Widows Password.'
8. Click on 'Download shortcut file' in the box that follows the previous step and right-click on the file to select 'Open.' This will establish the connection so you can log onto the remote machine. The login menu will launch automatically for WordPress installation with the Web Platform Installer.

7. Position your cursor in the body section of your message where you normally compose your email. Type the text for your blog entry in that section.
8. Send your email. WordPress posts your entry to your blog and sends a confirmation reply to your email account within a few minutes.

1. Connect to your website using your web host's FTP information. Once the 'Connected' status appears in the top panel of the FileZilla window, you are ready to start transferring files.

1. Navigate to GoDaddy.com and log in to the Account Manager using the user name and password fields at the top of the page.

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard by using the proper user name and password. These are assigned to you by email when the account is created, and under the Users tab, you can change or create different administration users after your account is live. The dashboard gives you access to the 'back end' of the site and allows you to adjust the site and add content.
2. Go to the Pages section on the left side of the dashboard, and select the Add New Page link. Label this page 'Home,' and add any copy, logos, graphics or images. If you plan on having a blogging page within your site, you can also designate an additional page where blog entries can be placed. Simply activate the Posts Page drop-down menu, and choose your blog page from the menu.
6. Select the link at the top of your dashboard labeled with the name of your site, which will direct you to the live version of your website. Check to see that the homepage is now static, meaning that it does not contain any blogging entries and loads the way you envisioned.

How to Rename a WordPress Theme in the Dashboard





1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard. Click on 'Editor' in the Appearance panel to open the file editor.
2. Open the theme's primary style sheet (style.css). Examine the top of the file.

4. Change the declared theme name in the 'Theme Name' field. If desired, change the author, author URL and description.
5. Click on 'Update File.' You'll see an error warning, letting you know the declared theme name doesn't exist. Click on 'Refresh' and you'll be returned to the file editor. Click on 'Themes.' You'll see the new theme name updated in the theme manager.
